Overnight: Cape Cadogan
Meals included: Breakfast

Day 2 – Golf at Clovelly Country Club
(Optional) Spend the afternoon exploring the vibrant city of colourful Cape Town.
Helpful hint: We know it’s hard to pry yourself from the bustling streets and corner cafes of the Mother City, but we suggest heading up Table Mountain, via cable car, the first chance you get. The weather dictates the pace for this excursion, and the weather in Cape Town can be unpredictable, so to avoid disappointment, we suggest you head for the ‘table top’ as soon as mother nature gives you the ‘all clear’.

Overnight: Cape Cadogan
Meals included: Breakfast

Day 3 – Sight-Seeing Day
(Optional) Weather permitting, we suggest you take a short boat trip from the V&A Waterfront, across Table Bay to Robben Island. Visit this iconic landmass to understand the importance of South Africa’s 500-year-old multi-layered history and experience where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for so many years before being freed and uniting our country as a rainbow nation. For another unique experience, you may also want to join a conducted Township Tour of the various locations in Cape Town.

Overnight: Cape Cadogan
Meals included: Breakfast

Day 4 – Cape Town to Hermanus
Drive along the beautiful coastline via Gordons Bay, Rooiels, Betty’s Bay and Kleinmond to the beautiful Arabella Western Cape Hotel and Spa that overlooks the Indian Ocean and the Bot River estuary.

Day 5 – Golf at Arabella Golf Club

Day 6 – Hermanus to Franschhoek
Depart from Hermanus for the town of Franschhoek along the N2 highway. On arrival in the French town of Franschhoek you’ll check into the beautiful Pearl Valley Estate. Spend the afternoon at leisure, browsing the boutique-lined streets and delicious delis that offer fresh and flavorsome produce largely harvested from the area. Day 8 – Franschhoek to Stellenbosch
Depart for the town of Stellenbosch along the N2 highway and check into the 5-star, boutique hotel that is Majeka House. This afternoon we recommend some wine tasting and possibly lunch at Vergelegen Wine Estate where the award-winning Camphors restaurant overlooks the rolling lawns and towering trees (planted way back in 1700s) – creating a peaceful ambience in which to dine and relax. If you’re looking for a more laid-back experience we suggest you explore the Stables at Vergelegen; a classic ‘bistro’ style restaurant with a modern twist that showcases a varied and contemporary menu of simple but beautifully created cuisine.

Cape Cadogan

Tucked away in a cosy lane off Cape Town’s famous Kloof Street. The double-storey Georgian and Victorian building dates back to the beginning of the 19th century and is styled after Oscar Wilde’s bohemian lifestyle.
Bohemian-chic is the hallmark of the Cape Cadogan – the 15 Luxurious en suite Rooms are decorated with an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique furniture, using plush fabrics to maximum effect. The hotel’s comfortable lounge has a roaring open fireplace, relaxing gardens, a pool area for when the heat is on and a library to immerse yourself in. Breakfast, served in the elegant dining room, comes with a view of the pool and garden.

Kloof Street is one of Cape Town’s most fashionable streets and certainly one of the best for browsing. Antique dealers, second hand booksellers, pan-African markets and funky vintage clothing stores lie side by side with cool cafes, high street-style boutiques and chic décor shops and galleries. Sublime restaurants on your doorstep and further afield will add welcome gastronomic interludes to your wanderings.

Arabella Hotel & Spa

With a sprawling estate rivalling the best of Florida’s hotel-spa-Golf combos, the Arabella Hotel & Spa in Kleinmond (about half an hour outside Hermanus) offers guests across-the-board five-star splendour. Whether it’s a spa day, a round of golf or something a bit more outdoorsy you’re after, Arabella offers something for everyone – without skimping on luxury.
Tucked away in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve and overlooking the Bot River Lagoon and the rolling greens of the estate’s 18-hole golf course, Arabella is an exercise in grandeur. If on business, which goes well with golf after all, the hotel’s conference facilities are sure to be just the thing. Then unwind at the award-winning on-site spa complemented by a heated indoor hydro pool and sauna. Beyond the walls tonnes of activities, from kayaking to horse-riding, await.

Pearl Valley Hotel

The Pearl Valley Hotel by Mantis is a luxury establishment situated on Pearl Valley which forms part of the award-winning Val de Vie Estate, internationally recognised for its polo facilities and other world-class amenities. Set in the picturesque Paarl-Franschhoek Valley, Pearl Valley at Val de Vie is an approximate 45 minute drive from both Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport, and is a short drive away from many of South Africa’s most renowned wine estates and restaurants.

Majeka House

Design and décor are often features of a hotel rather than the focal point, but it is difficult to not openly gawk at the sublime fixtures at Majeka House, in Stellenbosch. The contemporary synthesis of wood, plastic, leather and colourful fabric punctuated by orchids and wall murals is just the beginning: located in South Africa’s oldest town at the heart of the Cape Winelands and home to an award-winning restaurant, Majeka House is the perfect base from which to explore the area.

Clovelly Country Club

With a reputation founded on the warmth of its character, its outstanding facilities, and steps taken to ensure a true reflection of its motto: “Fraternitas Ludorum” (Brotherhood in the Game), it’s no wonder Clovelly Country Club features on most golfer’s ‘must-play’ list. Ranking as one of the finest and most picturesque and challenging courses in South Africa; it’s a fine blend of testing holes with the Silvermine River and adjacent pools adding to the ambience.
