We will assess the weather on the day before offering our suggestions and recommendations on where to head to for a mouth-watering culinary experience.

Majeka House

Design and décor are often features of a hotel rather than the focal point, but it is difficult to not openly gawk at the sublime fixtures at Majeka House, in Stellenbosch. The contemporary synthesis of wood, plastic, leather and colourful fabric punctuated by orchids and wall murals is just the beginning: located in South Africa’s oldest town at the heart of the Cape Winelands and home to an award-winning restaurant, Majeka House is the perfect base from which to explore the area.

Stellenbosch, founded in 1679, is a historical treasure trove. Museums, galleries and classic Cape Dutch architecture rest along roads lined with hundreds of oak trees planted over three centuries ago. The greater Stellenbosch area is an epicure’s delight with over 140 wine estates, most with their own restaurants, while the surrounding mountain ranges and valleys provide escapes for the nature-lover.

Fancourt Hotel

Fancourt Hotel offers accommodation suited to a variety of tastes. Over 100 luxurious bedrooms and suites are all equipped with everything you may need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The Manor House, a national monument, is the estate’s premium boutique hotel. If you seek unrivalled luxury, The Manor House offers an unprecedented experience.

Pearl Valley Golf Course

Is one of South Africa’s premier developments on the outskirts of two of the Cape’s most famous wine-lands towns, Franschhoek and Paarl. Designed on 212 hectares of tranquillity; surrounded by the Simonsberg and Drakenstein Mountains and bordered by vineyards Jack Nicklaus has stayed true to his design principles and has provided a golf course that fits in with the environment.
