OVERVIEW

It’s hard to be closer to nature than you are at Ewanjan. Erected in a blind valley for secluded privacy, only classic canvas tents separate you from the outside world. Shaded by acacia trees, Ewanjan’s position in the Central Serengeti puts it in a transition zone between the southern grasslands and northern woodlands, meaning you can spot species from both habitats.

It’s location also provides a double dip on seeing the Wildebeest Migration when they pass from April to June and November to March. The mess tent has Wi-Fi and charging points but the camp retains the authentic, down-to-earth atmosphere of the very first safaris to Tanzania. Children love connecting with Lemala Cubs and learning more about animals and Swahili culture.
